Dr. Ian Quartermus

Doctor of Chiropractic

Dr. Ian Quartermus is originally from Westphalia, MI. His fascination with the function of the human body lead him to obtain a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology from Michigan State University. Following his undergraduate studies, Dr. Ian wanted to find a profession that would allow him to use the healing power of the body to make people as healthy as they were meant to be. This search lead him to chiropractic.

"I’m able to enjoy time with my wife and daughters pain free."

I was looking for an alternative to pain medicine and wanted a healthier lifestyle. I had very bad sciatica down my right leg, and couldn’t walk upright due to the pain in my lower back. I had tried muscle relaxers, pain medicine, physical therapy, and other conventional medicine.

I feel the thing that sets Total Health apart from others is the one-on-one care you give to each person and the individual plans to make them better. Not a cookie cutter approach like others.

I haven’t had any symptoms of sciatica return, and any lower back trouble is usually corrected with an adjustment.

As a husband and a father, taking care of my family is the most important thing to me. When I first came here I couldn’t stand up, let alone work all day to support my family. It wasn’t easy, but with your help I’m able to enjoy time with my wife and daughters pain free.

Able to do all these things with my family, I feel better about myself...

I wasn’t able to live my life because of my chronic debilitating pain and headaches. Thank you for what you’ve done for me. It’s definitely worth any cost. Now that I’m able to do all these things with my family, I feel better about myself, the time I’m spending with my kids, the investment I made into my health and future. I’m able to work more and participate in life more.

More energy to do things and feels great to not hurt...

"I had seen doctors about pain in my hips and legs in the past and they said my hips were good but they didn’t know what else to do. I was having pain in my neck by the end of the day, hip area, and lower back. I had therapy done on my left leg/hip and it made the pain worse. The doctor gave me cortisone shots which also didn’t help. Total Health took my x-rays first and then showed me upfront what was wrong and what I was doing that was causing my pain. They also explained what I could do to fix it!

My left leg/hip pain is gone and now I can lay on my left side. My neck pain is gone and I now have less headaches than when I started. I had burning in my right hip which is also gone. I now have more energy to do things and it feels great to be able to not hurt after doing lots of outside work. I am now able to do more with my grandkids and I am sleeping better with less headaches."
